The "EU Practices in Media Education" project expands international cooperation
On February 11, 2025, at the invitation of Sylvia Liuti, Director of Internationalization, Quality Assurance, and Gender Equality Expert, the project team participated in the GenderED Coalition webinar.
The project team is deeply grateful for the great opportunity to join this meaningful discussion on countering gender misinformation online. The experience of the webinar speakers - Samrita Menon, a specialist in the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy and Digital Competences Division, and Sally Reynolds, Executive Director of the Media & Learning Association - was especially valuable.
During the webinar, the achievements of the GenderED Coalition project, opportunities to join the international network of media education professionals, further steps of the project, and an interactive question-and-answer session were presented.
Participation in such an event is an important step for the development of our project and an opportunity to join the international community of professionals working on the implementation of gender-sensitive media education.
