Report on the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module "European Practices in Media Education"

The project team reported that all activities envisioned by the project have been implemented: over three years, 62 higher education students majoring in 013 "Primary Education" participated in the study course "European Media Education Studies"; 48 faculty members received certificates as participants in the intensive course "Media Education in Teacher Training"; 65 teachers from general secondary education institutions took part in the Summer School "Integration of Media Education in Art Lessons"; the training course "Media Literacy for Older Adults" covered 45 participants from the University of the Third Age. Additionally, within the project framework, a Round Table "European Media Education Practices for Democracy" (2024) was held, a workshop for primary school students "Media Literacy for Children" (2024) was conducted, a toolkit "Implementation of European Media Education Practices in Teacher Training" was published, and two dissertations were defended. The project's implementation results were regularly reported at communication events. The Module implementation will conclude on September 30, 2025, so the project team is beginning preparations for reporting to EACEA.
