The teaching team of the Department of Primary Education Theory and Practice continues the implementation of two Jean Monnet Modules of the ERASMUS+ programme: "Ukraine – EU: Intercultural Communication in Education" and "European Practices in Media Education".
On February 2, 2023, at the meeting of master students of the specialty 013 "Primary education", the project group presented the programmes of the academic courses held in the second term.
The course "Intercultural Communication Studies" is being taught within the project for the third year. It aims to familiarize the students with the strategies of effective communication in the EU, the basics of interpersonal and intergroup communication in European society, the study of the intercultural aspect of the internationalization of higher education, etc.
The new course – "European Media Education Studies" – will be taught for the first time this academic year and is designed to familiarize higher education students with the regulatory and legal framework of European countries regarding the implementation of media education, to provide practical tools for the development of media literacy of teachers and primary school students based on pan-European trends.
