Summer School for art teachers of general secondary education institutions "Media Education Integration into Art Lessons"

On June 16-18, 2023, within the framework of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Module project "European Practices in Media Education" (101085162 - EUPinMEd - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-MODULE), the Summer School for art teachers of general secondary education institutions "Media Education Integration into Art Lessons" was held.

Under the leadership of the trainer of the Summer School - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Liudmila Havrilova - the event united teachers of educational institutions from Sloviansk, Dobropillia, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk around the problems of media education and media literacy, European approaches to work with information, visual and audiovisual art in education; understanding of the concept of copy and forgery in art. During summer school, art teachers focused their attention on the comparison of European and domestic contexts of fact-checking, worked on the problem of facts and judgments in the educational process in art classes, the interpretation of works of art, the combination of works of art with advertising and propaganda, the integration of New Media and art.
